Auto-fill a certificate of completion in Word

Keep the certificate of completion template your office already uses. Upload it with the materials you have, and the details are entered for you, with the formatting untouched.

What a certificate of completion involves

A certificate of completion confirms that a person finished a course, a training or a project phase: the name, the program, the dates and sometimes a grade or hours. Training providers issue them in batches at the end of every cohort, from one designed template.

A cohort of thirty means thirty certificates, each identical except for the name and the result. The roster or attendance sheet already holds every value; the work is moving it into the certificate one person at a time.

The data that gets filled in

  • Participant: full name
  • Program or course title
  • Completion date or program period
  • Grade, score or hours completed, if your certificate shows one
  • Certificate number and issue date

The values usually arrive in:

  • The course roster or attendance sheet
  • The results or grades list
  • The program description with title and dates

How to fill a certificate of completion with Run Done

  • Upload your certificate of completion template. The Word document your office already uses, opened without changing how it looks.
  • Add the materials. Photos, scans, PDFs or text with the details in them.
  • The data is entered for you. Each value lands in the right place; fonts, headers and layout stay unchanged. Anything that cannot be found stays empty rather than guessed.
  • Review and download. Confirm or correct every value, then download the finished Word file. Save the document to fill the next one with one click, or do it inside Word itself with the Word add-in.
Run Done fills your existing document; it does not draft or interpret legal content, and nothing is final until you approve it.

Common questions

Can thirty certificates be produced from one roster?

Yes. The certificate is saved once as a template and each participant's row fills one copy. You review the names and results before downloading the set.

Our certificate has decorative fonts and a border. Do they survive?

Yes. Formatting is untouched: fonts, borders, logos and layout stay exactly as designed. Only the text of the open fields changes.
