What a certificate of completion involves

A certificate of completion confirms that a person finished a course, a training or a project phase: the name, the program, the dates and sometimes a grade or hours. Training providers issue them in batches at the end of every cohort, from one designed template.

A cohort of thirty means thirty certificates, each identical except for the name and the result. The roster or attendance sheet already holds every value; the work is moving it into the certificate one person at a time.

The data that gets filled in

• Participant: full name
• Program or course title
• Completion date or program period
• Grade, score or hours completed, if your certificate shows one
• Certificate number and issue date

The values usually arrive in:

• The course roster or attendance sheet
• The results or grades list
